Ported enclosure loaded with two 12 Club subwoofers. Written by Crutchfield's Bob Bihlmayer. JBL has long been known for great sound, whether it's professional sound reinforcement, home audio, or car audio. Now they've taken their years of expertise and created the Club Series subwoofer enclosures, engineered to pump out thunderous bass with minimal distortion.
Putting the "loud" in "loudspeakers". The Club Series 1200P enclosure features two 12" subwoofers with polypropylene cones and 2" voice coils that can handle up to 800 watts of RMS power (1600 watts peak). With lows down to 30 Hz, you'll feel the bass in your bones.
The enclosure is wired to a single input with 2 ohms total impedance. Club Series enclosures owe their great sound to JBL's patented Slipstream port design.
Its double-flared design reduces turbulence and port noise, so you'll enjoy the higher output of a ported enclosure with less distortion. The box is constructed of 13/16 medium-density fiberboard (MDF) to stand up to the stresses of road life, with black carpet covering that keeps its good looks for years to come. Rounded corners make the Club Series enclosures easier to fit into tight spots.
